1) Who we are
Neurovia (“we”) operates the Neurovia iOS app.

2) Scope
This policy applies to the Neurovia iOS app, including:
- use on iPhone/iPad;
- the iOS share extension (if used);
- features for transcription and content generation (text/image/audio), and support tools.
Neurovia is a productivity and well-being tool. It does not provide medical diagnosis and does not replace a healthcare professional.
3) Key points (plain-language summary)
- Some of your data may remain on your device (audio files, documents, transcripts, creations).
- Some features may send content to our servers and/or to third-party services (for example, AI services) in order to produce transcripts, summaries, reports, images, audio, or generated media.
- Where required, the app may ask for in-app consent before using certain third-party services (including AI-related processing).
- You can manage iOS permissions and withdraw consent (when applicable) in Settings.
- We do not sell your personal information and we do not perform advertising tracking across apps.
4) Information we process
Depending on how you use the app, we may process:
A) Account information
- Email address
- Technical identifiers (e.g., a user identifier)
- Profile information you provide (e.g., first/last name)
B) Content you provide
- Audio: recordings, imported files
- Text: messages, notes, transcripts, documents
- Generated content: summaries, reports, images, synthesized audio, generated songs/media, and related items
C) Voiceprints (if you enable this feature)
- Audio you provide to create a voiceprint
- Voiceprint identifiers and labels
Note: this type of information may be considered sensitive. Use this feature only if you are comfortable with this processing.
D) Technical data and diagnostics
- App version, iOS version, device model, error logs
- Technical settings needed for the app to operate
- If you contact support: your message and, if you include it, diagnostics information
E) Usage monitoring
- Usage counters (e.g., transcription minutes, LLM tokens, image generations, text-to-speech usage, number of songs, etc.)
- Cost estimates (for monitoring purposes)
F) Contacts (if you use the contact picker)
- When you choose a contact, the app may access the name and the selected phone number.
- We do not upload your entire address book to our servers. Only the information needed for the action you initiate is used.
5) iOS permissions
Depending on the features you use, Neurovia may request:
- Microphone (audio recording)
- Speech Recognition (dictation / transcribing messages)
- Contacts (selecting a recipient through the contact picker)
- Face ID (securing access)
- Photo Library (Add Only) (saving images)
- Notifications (e.g., indicating that a recording is in progress)
You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings.
6) When information leaves your device (and why)
Some features require sending content outside your device, for example:
- Transcription: sending audio to produce a transcript.
- Chat / LLM / text generation: sending text (and sometimes necessary excerpts) to generate a response.
- Image generation: sending a prompt and parameters to generate an image.
- Text-to-speech (TTS): sending text and voice parameters to produce audio.
- Song / media generation: sending prompts/lyrics/title/tags needed to generate media.
- Voiceprints: sending audio to create a voiceprint and process related requests.
- Support: sending your support message (and diagnostics if you include them).
Consent (third-party / AI services)
- Some features may be disabled if you refuse required consent.
- If you refuse, the app remains usable, but some features (including AI-related features) may be unavailable.
7) Service providers (processors)
Depending on the features you use, information may be processed by service providers (processors), for example:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, configuration)
- Hosting infrastructure (application server, processing)
- AI and generation providers (depending on configuration), e.g., OpenAI and Google (Gemini)
- Text-to-speech provider, e.g., ElevenLabs
- Music/media generation provider, e.g., services via Apiframe
- Support relay service (to transmit support messages)
We do not sell your personal information.
8) International transfers
Some providers may process information outside your province/country (e.g., the United States). In such cases, information may be subject to the laws of the processing location.
9) Retention
- On device: your files (audio, text, creations) may remain stored locally until you delete them.
- On services: account data, usage data, and content needed to provide the service may be retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period (support, security, legal obligations).
- Temporary uploads (if applicable): may be stored temporarily to complete a processing request, then deleted according to our procedures.
10) Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights (access, correction, deletion, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent). In the app, you can typically:
- Manage iOS permissions
- Withdraw consent (if applicable)
- Delete local files
- Request account deletion (if available)

11) Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). No system is 100% secure.
12) Children
Neurovia is not intended for children under 13.
13) Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above indicates the latest update.
